Default Found a Carb rebuild Guy for $155 on eBay - FYI

Getting ready to try this guy - seems reasonable and has many carb rebuilds as samples - not to mention it's on Ebay so i'd be somewhat protected.
Thought i'd share the link if anyone needs a carb done and doesn't have a local shop/guy..

Sounds like a deal for a $20 gasket set and some rattle can.

U do have a point. A mill makes short work of a choke horn. Media blasting is a pain in the rear if you ask me.

Media blasting the Carb ??? you want not have porosity in a carb or cause it internally. Plus would nt be hard to clean up the carb with all the blasting material after the fact from cleaning it with the media.

I've had to do that back in the day had a hat and greased block with studs and wingnuts for holleys to seal em off similar deal for the quadrajets ,getting the finish back on that alloy was tricky .and expensive .if someone out there is rebuilding a boat Holley for less than $100 net it truly is the end .
