After consulting with Pat from Active Thunder I decided to get this back to factory x dimension. Also remove the previous owner added 1" spacers, keel extension, and possible repair of modified the scags.
Questions-
1- Since the lower half of the drive are unpainted, my plan was to sand it with 2000 grit and follow it up with a high speed polish finish. Is there something other then clear coating it that could be applied to maintain or obtain a high finish?
2- Modifications where done to the scags. What could be the advantage or disadvantage to this?
3- I'm removing the 1" spacers, anyone have stock length stud kit and shaft coupling they want to unload? Or recommend a good place to buy them?
4- Anyone have any info on drive blueprinting?
Lastly, where's the best place to purchased cables for drive indicators.
Thanks in advance,
Andy
