Default The new fel pro permadryplus gaskets

I think these are brand new. I tried some on my leaky valve covers and so far so good. They make them for oil pans too.

Has anyone had bad luck with these or are they too new to tell?

So far I like them. They are clean quick and easy. What do you guys think?

Thanks

Thumbs up

I've used 'em on three small-block oil pans, both steel and cast-aluminum, and I must say that they are very easy to install and don't leak a drop.

Default Permidryplus Valve Cover Gaskets

Last night, rather than buying another $11.50 set of standard Fel-Pro cork valve-cover gaskets at AutoZone, I paid the $32 and picked-up and installed a set of of the Fel-Pro Permidryplus gaskets on my small-block premeter-attached cast-aluminum valve covers in my 18 Donzi. What a difference. No glue, no mess, no chance of a mis-fit or over torque, and they are reusable. Definately a cut above, and in time, they will be on every engine in every boat I have.

If you haven't check 'em out yet, the next time you need a set of valve-cover or oil-pan gaskets, take a good look a the the Permidryplus before you buy the same old cork or rubber gaskets. The oil-pan set is one piece and is a perfect fit.

Are these BRAND NEW from Felpro? The reason I ask is because Felpro came out with some valve cover and oil pan gaskets a few years ago that are a light blue color that I think were supposed to be resuable. I have heard these (especially the oil pan ones) really leaked badly!

Kamma,

I was told they are brand new in 2002. Do a search and some people are saying some nice things about them.
