The 2015 Qatar Cup is a week out and group of committed offshore racers is making the trek to the mideast to explore and conquer new offshore territory. This thread is about this adventure (not politics, hatred, bashing, trolls or hangups) . So if you are excited about being a part of it. post your thoughts or questions to the racers and fans attending. This thread is for Pictures and updates on the events. This promises to be one epic offshore adventure.
The 13 Hr flight leaves this Sunday evening from Miami. That right a flight full off offshore racers....scary thought.

I tried to make it work but the return flight landed 24 hrs before the Miami Show and I'm committed to attending a few things there.
Good luck and good racing to all participants and fans heading over.
Hope they do it again next year a week earlier.

Great idea, Marc.
I am going just as a fan and show support for the many US racers I have come to know over the years. There are 6 of us flying out of Toronto while I think most are going from Miami. While it’s a long way to fly half way around the world for a race, I look at it as an opportunity to see a part of the world I might not otherwise get to see. We have lots of activities planned and also hear there is lots that has been planned for those attending so really looking forward to this. I tacked a couple extra days on after the races and am going to fly over to Dubai and check that out as well since I am so close.

I saw pics on FB of the first lot of boats being offloaded perhaps a week ago from the main shipment. There were 2 more boats sent later ( Peppers ) and another boat and have not seen that they arrived yet but I imagine soon.

Hey Jay, Hope you guys have a great trip ! Watch out for those camels as they are grumpy and like to bite. Racing should be awesome. Go team outerlimits.!!
