this is just my opinion so please don,t have a cow but unless there is a fairly large performance gain over the cast exhaust the risk of problems over time may not be worth the gains.i will also say that i love the look ,BLING BLING.

Maybe it's just the pic, but the twin single pipes look somewhat restrictive (where they merge into the turbo). They would have to offer a significant performance improvement for me to consider dumping the far more reliable (far less likely to leak) factory manifolds.

They should offer these with a traditional BBC flange, lots of after-market potential there!

Looks like we're all on the same leaky page on this one...

Oops. Spellcheck can't save you from yourself sometimes.

Thank you, 33outlawsst! Much appreciated.

As for the rest, gentlemen, I have no answers for you as yet. New picture of the headers on the engine replaced the old one, though.

In our line of work efficiency, performance and reliability are paramount, you can't win if you don't finish. We know these engines intimately and would not embark on a project unless we were able to raise the bar all the way around. The current cast headers are perfectly adequate for many consumers.... We however are a racing team and we have proven that we run the most reliable and fastest setup for an offshore race boat . period. That said, by nature we will always strive to increase the level of our efficiency and performance. This part is designed by experts in the business. Our view is that header systems in our boat are in an uncompromising no win situation. The extremes of both a hot and cold environment essentially mean they have a lifespan and are subject to replacement after a period of time (depending on usage, care and heat damage it can vary between users). Boating is not a cheap hobby, racing even less so......one thing is certain...if you want the best racing technology on your own equipment ....follow our lead.

Designation correction: QC4v. I have changed it in the story. OSO mods will have to change here as we are past the 30-minute point.

My bad. I'd blame the jet lag (15 hours from Qatar yesterday) but I have messed that one up more times than I can recall.

Carry on.
