How much hp can you get out of a carbed hp500 with a cam change?

That will depend on if it is "just a cam" or if it is a "Bob cam".

550-570 is typical unless you go nutz, or backwards of course.

Now back to my question. Is that earlier post of 550-570hp gain with a cam change correct or can i get closer to 600 or more? I am just a poor fireman trying to make my old boat go faster, haha.
