What is the best prop for a 271 SR1 with a 502 560 Hp (Dyno tested) Bravo 1 XR 1.50 ??

I would like a normal hole shot, good cruising speed and a hig top end he he ;-)

I had actually a 4 blade propeller on my agenda, because of the all around performance ....
Why do you suggest a 3 blade ?, based on experience ?

What rpm are you shooting for? It is a straight bottom hull that needs bow lift and with a deep drive a 3 blade mirage would be fastest. A bravo 4 blade won't have the lift and you will lose some top end, but yes gain some midrange.

I have heard the Rev 4s give more bow lift than a bravo so that may be an option too. There is no one prop that is best for everything. If it was a 271 fastech with a step I would say bravo 4 blade.
