Nicely done. As I tagged along it was obvious the clouds and cold weather would play hell on the chances for good photos.

They do dull the colors and create unwanted shadows, but they also even out the light and in some cases can become an integral part of the image.
From the shots in the slideshow it didn't look like she had any problems. (saturation slider to the rescue!

Thanks. I meant that other than blocking the warm sunlight, clouds don't need to be a negative.
They do dull the colors and create unwanted shadows, but they also even out the light and in some cases can become an integral part of the image.

Yvonne informed me that the stuffed animal primate I labeled in a caption as a "gorilla" is, in fact, an orangutan. The caption has been corrected ... gotta keep your apes straight, right?
