ok long story short ive been up down and all around done everything, heads rebuilt, check for cracks, new gaskets, now I pulled the motor and had pressure tested no cracks in the block hold solid pressure!!

there 565 bbc with cams and old hawk manifolds with jacketed tail pipes with tips, pressure tested the manifolds there holding fine... heard a wise tail about big cams sucking back water where the water and the exhaust mix... the only catch is mine mix at the tip outside the boat, not to mention I have velvet trans so its about 3ft from the manifold to the tip

has anyone else had this problem im running out of test to perform???

Yes it happens all the time, the exhaust should't mix with the water they should be dry all the way out. Big cam race motors are completly dry the run a dump tube out the top or bottom away from the exhaust.

It is very possible. Post your cam specs and someone else might chime in.

If you start the engine on the hose and let it idle you can stand back and look up the tail with a good flash light and see the water running back up the pipe.

ok so if water is sucking back how come one motor is filling up with water with the oil and the other motor is not?? im trying to fix my oil water issue?

check the exhaust gaskets on the water one,,a small leak will make it revert.

Could have a valve to tight. Ignition issue. There are lots of possibilities.

What heads are you running, what exactly is the manifold, could be an intake gasket leak and running into the lifter galley
