Looking for an A/F ratio gauge for a Procharged fuel injected engine...
The "failsafe" gauges have caught my eye figuring I could hook the output to a boost controller, rev limiter or at the very least a warning light..
I'm having a hard time deciding between the two...
The Innovate

The AEM

Anyone have any experience with either one ?
THANKS !
Doug

I have the innovate. O2's can be found cheap on flee bay. More importantly, the software works great. I had MEFI burn and inno's software running screen shot video at same time on the laptop. Had my tuning done in a couple hours. I don't have the "safe" function though. Does that have the "anolog" sweep also?

So, after reading the manuals for both I still can't decide.
I like the analog sweep design of the AEM but its not much good if you can't read it in sunlight.
I guess my biggest question between the two is the way the alarm function works.
With the AEM you go to configuration, drive it when it's functioning properly and it records data points on a graph to base the warning setting off of.
The innovate looks like you set a boost trip point and a minimum AFR and that's it. .
Are the additional data points important ?

If you're tuning, you'll likely be looking at other data via computer.
