i just sold my 40 ft sailboat and want a good power boat, so i have two questions. 1) any of you guys familiar with the apache 41 runabouts, and 2) are they any good?
my neighbor a few doors down has a pretty fast bayliner with huge inboard engines from a car! i think they are 350 ci from an iroc camaro! boy are they loud.
he said apaches are ok, but hard to get on plane because they are really really deep. what ever that means. thx in advance for your opinions any other info you can share

You should also look at 47 fountains. Originally Elvis wanted a 41 apache but his dock was 47 feet, so he thought it would look bad if his boat wasnt as big as his dock. So he bought a 41 apache from Chuck Norris and had a beak added to it and the 47 fountain was born. They are fast boats, Don Arrow had one as his personal boat. Peter Heineken bought one, cut it in half and stuck a wing inbetween the two halfs and called it a skeeter. It all gets really confusing so you have to get a survey to figure out what you are really buying.
