Yeh, poor old 540 Rat.

Going back in History a handful of years ago, he had a SR lifter fail with extremely low miles on his street car.

He went bezerk...lost his mind....and turned into a Dr Frankenstien and started testing motor oils.

I was there (online) to watch this happen real time.

He may have some good info there, but many pro's don't think so.

All the above is true and fact.

Do the oil chemists know better or does he ?

Just asking ^^^^ - Did'nt you already post that about the guy going nuts about his issue. If not someone else said the samething about his issues and what he did. Just asking because I heard this before exactly.

I would like to pass this story on to 2 people that I know and see what their reply is. If they say anything at all I will post it.

I have no idea about any of that, but it certainly is more interesting than the typical oil brand advice based on someone liking the colors on the bottle of their favorite oil.

miled thunder I can't thank you enough for 540 ratblog, I'm a poorly educated man but intelligant that blog answerd so many questions I can't count them all, I must find a way to arcive this. Connecting rods, compression has been killing them not tension the funny bend. Can't wate to read the rest bless you and yours.

That guys back has to hurt from padding himself on the back for 40 pages . Seems like a" OIL EXTREME concentrate" commercial.. whatever snake oil that is.
