having a hard time keeping drives in it now any advice or tricks to get more time outta them
oil recommended
maintenance schedule or tricks
didn't have one problem for a full season of hard running and now seems like a cant even get half a season outta them.
not name bashing or naming any names just wanna know more about #6 drives.
can I change gears to help or any tricks. thanks

Is this Jerry McConells old boat Clifford?
I would say it's the 6 blade props. Very hard on the drivetrain and in that set up the upper gears in a 6 would be the weakest point. Just went through the same thing with 700 Nxt set up. Merc said get rid of the 6 blades to make the transmissions and drives live.

How deep in the water the drives/props are and the 6 blades are going to be the big killers. High X and 6 blades are hard on drives. Drive guardians may help depending how much the boat comes out of the water.
