Default Apache SSM3A Trim Reservoir Leaking to ???

Hey Gents,

Iv'e only had the Apache out a few times and noticed I have to continue filling the port trim reservoir a few times a day. It's not leaking from the pump and doesn't leak in a stationary position, only when I am trimming the drives. Yesterday I was removing the props and noticed I could lift the drive by hand, about 6-8". Any ideas would help........

I would say the Trim Ram seals are leaking. They are like any hydraulic ram, they can be rebuilt. When moving it is pushing the oil out past the seal. That is my guess. Plus the movement of the drive also indicates pressure loss.
