New motor is working out decent so far. Dynoed at 601hp and 605ft/lbs on 91. Running a 28p bravo 4 blade at 5600rpm and seeing 76mph on gps. Id like to try a 30p and see how it works out. Still trying to fix an issue of oil building up in the valve covers and not draining to the crankcase quick enough at high rpms. Pushing oil into my overflow catch.

I don't see an breathers.
BTW: That is absolutely one of the best pics I've seen. Scenery in background and foreground (lol) is fantastic. Ditch the guy in the back, and that photo is more than magazine material.

Thx. I actually ended up installing a line from each valve cover run to an oil catch tank on the bulkhead with a breather filter on it. That pic was just before everything was finished up. If you look closely, my throttle linkage isnt hooked up either lol

Thats what i was thinking myself... i got the prop from a friend. Used. And he had machined off the diffuser ring. Im hoping its just an inefficiant prop and i can get it worked to see over 80. Im scratching my head because at 3/4 tank, and 7 adults (only tried out of curiousity) i could still get on a plane and see that speed... hoping a different prop or labber one will work out better
