Default Panther Prop Selection

Any thoughts? 1989 Panther, 461ci with Mega Blowers, Bravo's prop shafts set at 4.5" below bottom, 28" Bravo Ones vs 29" Mirage Plus?

I would try the Mirage 25P and then go from there. What is you targeted RPM and est. HP?

My setup is a little different seeing it's a TRS boat. But I have run 3 blade Mirage, 4 blade Braov1's, 4 blade Spinelli's standard and round ear and a slew of other props. The best performing and handling props have been my 25 and 27 Mirages and the coolest looking props were the Spinelli's. lol I would find some 27's or 29's. I swing the 27's with built 454's, some bottom work and no blowers.

whats the horsepower?
I would try the bravo's but the 3 blades would probably be faster on top end.

I'm spinning 28 Bravos 5900@95, so I was thinking 29 Mirage Plus? just curious? I might try the 29s. Didn't know if someone had already made a similar comparison on a similar set up?

With your raised x, I wouldn't expect any gains with 3 blades. Handling prob won't be as good as it is now

I'm guessing same! I'm going to have the 28 Bravos tuned this winter.
