Default Fountain won't plane out all of sudden

After being out over the weekend I tired to plane out at the end of the day with no success. It seems like it flat doesn't have the power, it won't get above 2k rpms. I checked the following, nothing in the prop, both trim tabs work (and we're all the way down) and outdrive was all the in. Engine idles and sounds like it normally has. I even checked the bilge thinking maybe it took on water and had to much weight, none! Like I said, happened kinda all of sudden. Ran great all weekend, anchored out for about 3 hours and then no power. Any ideas out there?

If anything spun I'd imagine he would have higher than 2k rpms. Bad fuel filter?

Put it in neutral and see if it revs high. If it does fine in neutral its most likely the safety switch wire(s).

Is it backfiring, cutting out, etc? I'd suspect fuel pressure.

It's the 502 mag fuel injected. I know it's not the prop as it's a solid hub.

Replace the fuel filter / water separator if you haven't in a while. Sounds like it could be a fuel pressure related problem...could be vapor locked as you said you anchored for 3 hours and then tried to get on plane...seems about the time frame people say vapor lock happens per what ive read here.
