On YouTube there are a couple of other videos from different angles. Made me cringe every time. Still don't understand what the hell the police were doing besides nothing. Sounds like the guy just screwed up and got himself into a bad situation. Probably didn't know where he was going.

He wasn't drunk and several boats suffered minor damage. He got trapped in the narrow channel. The drunken idiot filming it is more obnoxious. I am so glad to boat on the Great Lakes where you can go out and not see another boat even on a 90* weekend.
