Regarding the 502 cam thread, I am using the Crane H-278 in a 95 502 EFI with the stock ECU and GIL manifolds. Would increasing the fuel rail pressure provide any benefit with this setup?

Buy a EFI fuel pressure tester at a local auto parts store and check your fuel pressure. Increasing fuel rail pressure works well on a marine engine (not on an automotive engine) but remember it is only a cheap fix. The only thing you can do is test and readjust and test and readjust. It is much cheaper than sending in the ECM to have it reprogramed several times until you/they get it right (but not as good).

So you are saying that by increasing the fuel pressure to the injectors, that we can see a performance gain? I am running 35psi on the injector rail....what would you recommend? I also have a freshly rebuilt 502MPI with a custom cam and new forged pistons, mild head work, and roller valve train.
