Performer was Bill Elswick's boat company. They were located near SE15 th st in Fort Lauderdale.
Bill raced one of these 36's when he first moved up to Open class from the Production class, where he was running with a 27 foot Magnum.
Good boats and rare as stated but in the era it was built, it will be heavy.

[ATTACH=CONFIG]547148[/ATTACH]It was on a big old school trailer on the main road. I didn't want to go poking through the guy's yard taking pics unannounced . I was under the impression from some pics of Bounty Hunter that the were the same boat. But I wouldn't know. Next time I'm down there, I'll knock on the door. BTW it has a cig emblem on it. Also , this boat, while it tough to see this boat really appears to be 40'.
