Default Boat for sale listings

What you all rate as the, say, top three to five places to look for a power boat for sale? There seems to be a million different listing sites nowadays. I want to make sure I cover as many bases as I can in my quest for another boat. I know Boat Trader used to be the biggest.

1. Site classifieds (OSO, S&F, THT depending on what style you're after)
2. Craigslist
3. Boat Trader
4. Powerboat Listings

3 of my last 4 were found on Craigslist using one of the "finder" sites for CL. The other one I happened upon while looking on E-Bay.

Many dealers track their listings and Boat trader by far is the best to sell from so there is many listings to look at.

Depending on what the boat is that can depend where it is listed. Mid and big cruiser sell on yacht world. Actually boat trader owns these sights along with boats.com. I think BT owns about 5 if not more more boating sites.

At first I miss read your post as I thought you were selling not buying.

Craigslist, and Boattrader.

Most of the boats I have seen on powerboatlistings are from 3 or 4 years ago. (could just be the ones I am looking at, I dunno)

I found both of my last 2 boats on Boat trader.

I'll be listing mine here and on the facebook powerboat swap shop. Lots of traffic for go fast boats, and usually where I shop.

I tried Powerboat Swap Shop for finding a boat and they kicked me off. I guess almost carbon copy requests got me flagged and the Mod. won't even acknowledge me, friggin Joke! Facebook Powerboats For Sale is good as well and didn't boot me. Wound up buying on Boat Trader. Whatever you do don't use Popyacht's broker, they tried selling me a stolen boat and swore up and down it was clean!!

It's a shame powerboatlistings.com ads are not always current as it's a easy to navigate site with the types of boats this sites members are usually after........

There are lots of boats LOTO, I would try Ed at Lake Ozark Marine. Even if a boat is not listed on his web site, he may know of someone thinking abut upgrading what they currently have.

Just stick to the top listings. Newest ad is always on top.

Ask local area boaters/boat club. They could always help you out as well. Or even just driving around you never know what boat you'll see that's for sale.
