Yep - I found that boat for sale awhile back... I also agree, Priced a little high and from the Pics it looks to already need some Extra TLC...

I also seen it a few months ago and that was why i listed my F1 boat. But no sale so i had to pass on the SR. But 39k really is not that bad. It has a lot of rigging. I was planning on making a cover girl cabin, simple power and IMCO drive.

Boat $ 39,000
Upholstery/seating $ 12,000
Stock 525 package $35,000
Rest of hardware $15,000
Labor. $5,000-10,000
Total by splash $90,000
Not that good of a deal ! Now you could swap shop for parts . Used hear and there . And not finish the cabin . Maybe get out for about $75k but then you would have basically paid top dollar for a new hull to build a used boat .
Boat would be a deal at $25 k . You could build it the way it needed to be built and have about $75,000 in it .
I wish someone would buy it and start a build thread . We could use some Pantera activity ..

I agree if you wanted a new boat it would add up quick. But, if you went with older/custom power and rebuilt Mr Gadgets drive you could save some coin. I know people in the upholstery business and could cut that figure in at least half if I helped. I could do most of the labor myself. I think the miscellaneous hardware could add up quick though!

But, I have neither the time or the money so someone needs to buy it for a project!

Want to ask who is posting the newer step 28 boat on Pantera facebook page as of late ?

Did someone buy the molds and a possible start up ? I have no idea and why all of sudden a 28 pops up on the FB page. I know it was built about 2 years ago if I recall correctly.

Looks like its sitting at the Concept Factory. If someone was to jump on it I'm sure Luis and his team could do a fantastic job finishing the rigging.
