Default How tall is a 28' on a trailer?

Looking at a 28' maybe. Trying to figure out if itll fit in my shop. I have an 8' by 10' door on the shop and 40' deep. Thanks!

There are dozens of variables; not an exact science.

Tire size
Wheel size
Torsion or leaf suspension
Weld together trailer or bolt together trailer
Steel trailer or aluminum
Lifted truck, tires, wheels
Flat land or hill
Pavement or gravel driveway (you can scoop gravel out of the driveway so the rear truck tires dip low just as the windscreen clears a door).
And different boats sit on different trailers at different angles.

I've seen the exact same exact boat/hull on dozens of trailer, and seen as much as 12" of height difference at highest point.

You should be ok with a 8' door height. My 28 is 6'-10" tall sitting on a aluminum double I-beam trailer with 15" wheels. My door 8'x12' and clears it fine.

Thanks for the input guys. I realize there can be a lot of variables so no answer will be perfect, I guess I am just looking for a general idea if it will most likely work or hell no not even close. I feel fairly confident the 8' door will work and if not I guess ill just have to make it bigger

My garage sounds like yours. the compass is a very close to the overhead door seal and actually will touch it with my new 2500HD truck. My older truck was slightly lower and had .5" clearance.
