I'm installing two cleats tomorrow. I have fast cure 4200 and 5200 here.

Silicone is for stuff you may need to remove sometime. 4200 was designed for people that were not sure if they were doing something right and they could fix it later if they did it wrong. 5200 is for people that know there doing it right the first time, because there is no second chance.

They will both work just fine. If it was me I would go witht the 4200.

I wouldn't use either. I would use silicone.

I used 4200 when I replaced the cleats on my Pantera. Worked well and does not peel up like silcone.

Never say never, I would go with a good backing plate and silicone.

I made 1/4 inch thick aluminum backing plates. Not crazy about silicone so I'll probably use the 4200.

As "Big Silver Cat" said....Silicone. It should be under the cleat, not a fillet around it.

I would use silicone or 4200. I would not use 5200 as you may want to replace them someday.
