My pump has a slow leak. I believe it's the pump/reservoir seal. Found this kit:

i think it will.merc used gm pumps,nothing marine about it.

I have been told in the past it was the same pump but the relief valve screwed in back is different ..Do you know if this is true or false ?

Not sure abt the relief valve. Would you want more or less press in a marine application?

i am not sure but if i remember correctly it is the same.

the pressure regulator is different(big nut on rear with valve and spring under), seal kit will work, main pump the same, was told but I never verfyed that they used a bearing instead of a bushing for the marine pumps and they were done by AGR
