I am going to install a water pressure gauge on my 496 (8.1). My question is do I buy the 0-35psi or 0-60psi gauge? I'm not sure what pressure a stock 496 puts out. I would also like to be able to install a 525 or similar in the future. I'm thinking the 0-60 gauge?

I'd get the 0-60 for closed cooling apps

If I recall Merc uses a 100 psi pressure sensor. you want the gauge to match the ohms range spec of the sensor as well. I would check that out beforehand.

I just called up livorsi to order gauges. They don't make an electric wp gauge. He was going to turn a fp 0-90 gauge into a wp for me but it wouldn't even register at idle so I ordered a mechanical gauge.
