Default exhaust air cylinders [replacements?]

got harrassed by the boat police at the fuel dock

little air compressor working like a champ old air cylinders seem to be not working air leaks around shaft . any replacement ideas that arnt 70 bucks apiece from gaffrig?

Take them apart. Theres O-rings in there. You can get the orings at most hardware stores.

That and don't lubricate them with oil - use dish soap - just a few drops into the air fitting. I tried oil on mine years ago and it made them worse, Talked to a MERC guy and he told me to use dish soap.

I had the same issue a couple years ago. I replaced the internal O rings as MT said and problem solved.
They look like one piece, but the endcaps do unscrew.

I replaced mine a year or two ago for less than 1/2 Gaffrig price, I'll try to find the receipt. On the subject, has anyone replaced the little air pump/compressor? I took mine all apart last year and it failed again after a couple days... Very prone to salt.
