Has anyone done this? I refinished a floor in the engine compartment that had a bunch of screw holes from over the years. Painted it Rustoleum white with some hardner. It's too white. I used the Interlux Bilge Coat in the past, and it's too yellow. I need something in between and was thinking about mixing the two to get the color I need? Anyone tried this before?

Ok, i'll get some almond paint and mix a bit in. I'll feel better about that than mixing with the Interlux.
I painted it last night, 10pm. Was about 65 in my shop. I mixed in 2 oz of the hardner with 1 qt of the white. This morning was 55 in the shop and stuff was still wet. It's supposed to be up to 72 today so I have the door cracked. Hopefully this stuff dries. I was expecting the hardner to make it dry even at 60 degrees. I wanted to put on another coat tonight, but if this stuff is still tacky, may not be able to......... arg.

I was told you let it sit for 20 minutes so it can react or "kick off" before painting with it. You really need to do that. Also if you put a sealed lid on it wont harden up in the container for hours if not for a day. It has to off gas to harden and is why a fan is a good suggestion to help drying.
And just a FYI, don't spray paint mixed with the hardener. There's chance it may kill you without the proper fresh air gear.
