Any body know what gear oil type GL4 or GL5 is needed for the old trs drive

Use merc high performance green gear oil.

I run Sierra High Performance. Same as Mercury HP and 30% cheaper. Never had a lube related failure on my TRS stuff.

been using Mercury gear oil , but what i am trying to figure out is it a GL4 or GL5
