I am just about done adding the wiring harness/Supercharger to my new 502 Long block and was wondering if you guys think its a good idea to replace the sensors on the engine before installing it into the boat for a precaution in the future?

I would replace the ones that are inaccessable or a total bish to get at when the engine is in hull. Don't worry about the other ones.

The engine ran out of oil causing it to blow up and no alarm went off so im assuming some of the senders or sensors are bad.

Have you checked to see if the alarm actually works? lol.
Does it beep at key-on?
