I'm looking at purchasing a 1988 Eliminator Daytona 27. The boat appears to be in decent shape, needs some minor TLC. The boat has 2- 1988 Johnson 300 hp 2 stroke v8s. Now I know nothing about outboards, 2- strokes, as well as eliminators. My last boat was a fountain had to sell it and now I'm wanting to get back into a speed boat. If anyone could give me some tips or advice as to what to look for when I check it out that'd be greatly appreciated. The boat was rigged with triples but now has twins on it. What is something like this worth? Interior is very dated.
