Default Thread lubricant, sealents and gasket tack for upper end assembly

Going to start reassembly tonight, would like to get some input on what everyone using for a few things.

1st, after mating surfaces are prepped, do I install the head Felpro MLS gaskets dry? or spray with gasket tack?

2nd, sealing off head bolt threads into the water jacket...permagasket #2?

3rd, what is used as thread lube for torquing? Antisieze? I would have ordered the ARP lube but slipped my mind

4th, intake manifold gaskets, gasket tack to hold position? How about the end gaskets...does anyone even use them?

Sorry, its been 20 yrs since doing an upper end assembly and this is not a $500 small block...no option but to get it right the first time or I will be paddling it on the 4th.

1,fel pro wants the mls gasket installed dry,the black coating on it is a sealer.2,i use leak lok on head bolts and never had a leak.3,if using bolts just the leak lok in the bolt holes,if studs use arp thread lube for the nuts.4,i apply a smear cote on the head& manifold with the right stuff.i don,t use the end seals,i apply a bead of the right stuff.also put leak lok on the threads of the intake bolts.

Majority of the head fasteners are studs with 12pt nuts, the only bolts through the jacket are ones that hold the jesel shaft mounts down, they are the ones that need the sealant. Hope I can source the ARP lube locally.

i would not use arp thread sealant on the bolts going into the water jacket,THEY WILL LEAK.as i said earlier,LEAK LOK is what i use and it does not leak.

I don't remember any of the Jesel bolts going into water jackets.

Most aftermarket blocks have blind head bolt holes that won't leak around the studs

I really like Loctite 567 for a thread sealant.
