...i would look for ways to reward folks that are very helpful to others.

Having said this, I believe OSO is run well and I am happy to have contributed to offsetting expenses to keep it functional.

I would try and get oso back to what it was, a positive contribution to the sport. It's painfully obvious that IB doesn't know the difference between a beak and a bayliner and could care less.

If you ran OSO...
Hi all!

We are officially inviting you to complete the sentence, "If I ran OSO..."

We really really want to know what you would do differently (if anything!) to make this the best boating experience it could be.

What do you love about OSO and wouldn't change?

The fact it exists

What do you (ahem) not love, and would immediately change?

The constant bickering and fighting and attacks

What do you miss about the way it "used to be"?

friendship fun meeting people IRL and having fun... jackassery is fun, the aszholery of late not so much

Is there something that keeps you from enjoying or using OSO as much as you would like?

Fix how the first post is screwed up. I mean really isn't all the other ads enough?

do not delete beware threads, even if the person that is been outed is a sponsor.
it should not be left up to a moderator to decide what thread stays or goes.

I deeply hope it is not necessary to know the difference between those things just in order to provide a safe, happy, functional forum where the experts can discuss such things. Because you're right, I don't.

But the question isn't how would *I* do it; the question was, "If YOU ran OSO," how would YOU "get oso back to what it was, a positive contribution to the sport"?
