can you guys give me some info on them. Has a 454 mag MPI that was just refreshed and has 23 hours on it. Bravo 1 out drive.
How many people can you cruise with comfortably? We are a family of four stepping up from a 21 ft lowrider. Looking for something to handle the Chesapeake bay waters a little better.
Can it still be used for watersports?
Is the cuddy big enough to over night?
And finally, is the resale on the Power quests difficult? Seems like this guy has had it listed for a while and was just curious in case I wanted to step up to something larger in a few years
Thanks for the help guys.

Lol...my Crownline 202 LPX definitely rides like a low rider as soon as the wind kicks up any kind of chop in the bay area. It really restricts our travels and would love to explore the bay more but don't want to chance it with the Crownline.

Yes, you can still tube, ski, etc. Won't be the best wake board boat. Make sure it has trim tabs.
Cuddy is tight for overnighting. 2 smaller people max.
Powerquest is a regional boat. Mostly known in the Midwest, That might be why it isn't moving very fast out East.

Thanks for the info. Gonna take a ride and check it out. Seller had a custom cushion built for in between the benches to allow his kids to sleep there as well. Just gonna take a ride and see what it's all about. Thanks for the insight guys. Any and all info is very welcome

That would be a nice step up for size. The only thing I would be concerned with is the “refresh” on the 454mpi’s. I am always a little perplexed why so many boats for sale always same engines just refreshed or rebuilt, especially on stock engines. In my mind, I would be wondering what the reason for the refresh was, and more importantly who did it and what did it consist of. There is no reason Mercruiser Black engines can’t go a minimum of a 1000 hours with just normal maintenance. I have a touch over a 1000 hours on 502 mpi mags that still run as good as they did with 200 hours. I would personally rather buy a higher hour maintained untouched stock engines than low hour rebuilds.

Well, in my case... Last September I had an original, 400 hour 496 MAG that still ran as new. Hydrolocked number 6 and bent a rod due to missing exhaust scuppers in y-pipe. Stock hypereutectic pistons replaced with .030 over SRP forged. Stock cast rods replaced with SCAT H-beams. Otherwise rebuilt as stock. Heads decked and freshened with 3 angle valve job, new springs/locks/retainers, valve seals, etc. Engine made 394 HP and 514 lb ft of torque. Right at $9K to pull, rebuild, and replace engine along with a few maintenance items such as replacing the missing scuppers, water pumps, serp belt, plug wires, etc. This is money you are not going to recoup but if I were to sell my boat, I would think one would be getting a hell of a lot better deal than on the same boat with 1,000 hours on the original mill. Just depends on the circumstances of why the engine was rebuilt.

If you have that many trouble free hours I would think you should be fine for a long time yet. Main thing is don’t overheat them, and make sure your exhaust riser gaskets are not leaking. I know a few boats with 502mpi mags in the 1300 hour range running fine. I run mine in the 2800-3200 rpm range, but plenty of w.o.t. time too. I believe if “it ain’t broke don’t fix it” I hear too many stories of people wanting to prematurely rebuild their good running engines because they think the hours are too high and end up with more problems after the fact because they used shoddy people or tried to save money doing a lot themselves.
