Marina says they can bring my boat 365 miles from NY state to NJ with a one ton pickup. Is that reasonable? I have lowboy flatbed option from another guy with a semi truck. He is most expensive , but has experience even with Formula factory. $2500! My other estimated are closer to $1900. Also they recommend open top. No shrink wrap or cockpit cover. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED. Crap, sorry about the caps!

DO THE SHRINK WRAP. Even though it is only 365 miles what happens if it is raining the whole way, the cockpit gets trashed and the interior will also get some crap too. Had a friend transport his 38' Sea ray from Florida and the dealership didn't shrink wrap it. It cost a couple thousand just to clean it up and detail it after the cockpit got trashed.

rain is dirty and especially being towed behind a diesel truck. You will soot where you didn't think it could get. Just be prepared to give the cockpit a good cleaning. I wonder what kind of crack pipe they are smoking to not even suggest that the cockpit cover be installed

Thats not true. Unless its a semi or a hillbilly with stacks coming of their bed soot shouldn't be an issue. I had my 400ss towed from Cleveland to Miami and it really wasn't that dirty when I arrived to pick it up. I also had it brought back up without any issues. As I mentioned to the OP in his other thread just take the carpets out and be prepared to clean the boat when it arrives.
Also mine was towed with a 3500 Denali DRW. My trailer is a gooseneck, so it was within the trucks rated capacity.
