Default Anybody have a spare prop for a outboard ?

My father in-law spun his hub on a 1989 force 50 hp outboard.
the hub is going to cost him 50 dollars to replace. i was just wondering if anybody out there had one laying around and wants to sell it CHEAP. He doesn't have a lot of money so i'm helping him find one. The one he has is a 12.5 pitch but really anything will work with a higher pitch. new prop at my price from port supply is around 190.00. It has splines and a shear pin along with a plastic cone and cotter pin. Force that year i believe was made by chrysler so any ideas? Anybody have one laying around in somewhat good shape? he has a 22' pontoon boat and it's slow a a turtle
Thanks,
Rick

South Side outboard in Orlando has tons of used props, they should be able to help you ask for Jim Bob 407-658-2628

One question,
Will an Evinrude prop work on a force motor?

If so, I may have a prop that would work for you. It was off of a 60 horse Evinrude-Tracker outboard/Pontoon boat combo. It was just cleaned up at a prop shop, (Midwest Propeller, advertises in Powerboat mag), but we sold the boat is was used on.
E-mail me at [email protected] if interested.

I didn't know. I figured since the new owners will probably never leave the dock with the boat they wouldn't need a prop - HA!
