Default Chaudron SV27

HI!

The Chaudron SV27 is now officially released, The interior is now up there among the best. The first version was more straightfoward.

The fit an finish looks great

I am not sure of the speed with twin 200 ROS, but with a single 400R she runs better than 85 mph. Thats great speed for a 27,5 footer with a cabin.

Chaudron is made by the Maltese company http://www.chaudronpowerboats.com/

HI!

I have followed Chaudron for some years. Especially since they are heavy into racing against Outerlimits, Fountains, etc offshore in The Mediterranean. They have won several races with their 40-42 footers.

They have been building high performance boats for many years. In the beginning smaller speed boats between 22-30 feet. They were very like, if not identical, to the UK built Phantom boats. I have a original Phantom 25 from1985, and their Chaudron 25 was 100% alike. However, the boat builder of Phantom ceased his production end of the 90-ties if I remember correct. Anyway, their new Chaudron PRO 25 has a new 2 step bottom (mine is straight V) and very fast. It runs 86 mph with a single Mercury 300XS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoWxf4d4zV8. http://www.chaudronpowerboats.com/

The all new SV27 seem to combine the design of bigger boats with the smaller Phantom like models. I especially like the narrow beam.

Cheeers, Toffen
