Default 29 Outlaw weight?

Has anyone actually weighed a 29 on the trailer? Looking at new suv for my wife to drive and want to get something that will pull the boat safely. I towed it to loto with my 2000 Expedition one trip down this summer and I decided to only pull it with my 3/4 t chevy after that.

DTH, I haven't weighed the boat on the trailer, however I would guess that the boat, gas, and tri-axle trailer is approximately 10,000 lbs. I pull my rig with an Expedition, but feel more comfortable with a 3/4 or 1 ton truck.

Be careful with trusting what the book says. Most of the book weights are based on the standard base engine package, no fuel, or options. I also remember that when the heavier 496 block (w/closed cooling) replaced the lighter 454's and 502's the book weights were never updated for that. I think it would be be worth the 5 bucks to have the whole rig weighed.

Mine weighs about 10.5k on the trailer, full of gear & mostly full of fuel. I have a steel 3 axle Heritage trailer.
I can also tell you that a 6000lb Hydrohoist lift won't lift the boat, but it beats tying it up.

My 33 Outlaw on an Eagle tri-axle steel trailer with ~75 gallons =11,900. The boat is supposed to weigh 7500 empty according to the book.
