Default AHHHHH, the power of obsevation! Look what I found in my carb

This explains why it would not idle under 2000 rpm!

It looks like the cap off your air intake on your bicycle. Better go check and make sure your bicycle tire is still aired up.

How would that cause an idle problem? Plus it's in the secondaries. ???? Does it idle now?

Johnny B i think it caused a problem cause it's suposed to be covering a vaccum port instead of being in the carb, hence the big vaccum leak and lack of idle under 2,000 RPM, has noting to do with the secondaries

I bet you were glad to find that. Couldn't be an easier fix.

Looks like a vacum port cap.
I'd check all around the baseplate for any open ports.
Wonder how it got under the flame arrestor.

Iggy, no flame arrestor. Carbs are in a box. Vacuum line boot come off and landed there.
