Default Wow ! Saw a boat coming in to the Center Harbor, NH Docks this AM. 18*F Strong Wind

Big whitecaps, coming into the wind, straight for the CTR Docks / Ramp, approx 26ft boat maybe, no cover I could see,,,was traveling maybe 30-35mph,,,,would love to hear the story !

Lake came up a little bit the other week, so maybe a stranded at a dock or in a boathouse and could they now drive it out ?

Or someone forgot about it ?

If marina fetched it, wonder what the charge was ?

Again, ice starting to form on lake, 18*F (so said my rear view mirror) and very brisk wind.

Sorry, was not able to take picture.

Nuts !

It was coming straight in on plane at 30-35mph....so oh yeh it was running and someone was driving. Couldn't make out the person driving, probably hiding behind windshield or dash.

Probably figured since the forecast is saying below zero Friday morning it was time to pull it and winterize it.

Our part of the lake was frozen completely across when the wind stopped early the next day, Sunday morning.

I was on the lake alot today. 4:00-10:00pm Snowmobiling, hockey, fire, drinks, about 40-50 people hanging out on the lake having a good ol' time.
Nice night out there.
