Default Replacing the cabin door on an '82 40 hawk

Looking to replace the old louvered sliding door with something more solid. Has anyone ever took this on?
Thanks!

Does it slide into the left side? On a track?

Take the door off, get dimensions, and make a new one with that plastic siding material that looks like planks of wood. Stain it to look like wood after you built and fit it. I've replaced man y wood pieces with this stuff and it's made life much easier....mostly because I hate have to take care of all the wood pieces on my boat(s).
