NMMA Estimates 250,000 New Powerboats Sold In 2016

As of year 2016 I have the numbers but only from Jan 1, 2016 thru end of Sept 2016 so far.
It was very close to 213,000 new boats sold from Jan 1, 2016 to end Sept 2016. When compared to same sales Jan 1, 2015 to end Sept 2015 of almost 204,000 new boats is up about 4.5 % . A total of close to 10,000 new boats sold in Sept 2016 alone compare to almost 9,700 sept 2015.
Anyways the break down as of the dates from Jan 1, 2016 thru Sept 2016. Do not have the rest of the year Oct thru Dec 2016 sales as of yet,
Below is the break down for NEW boat sales only Jan 1, 2016 thru end of Sept 2016
Aluminum fish boats 16 - 99 ft - all propulsions was 36,630 ---- up 2.8 % from sametime last year sales .
pontoon Aluminum boats 16 ft - 99 ft all propulsions was 41,274 ---- up 8.4 %
outboard fiberglass 11 ft - 40 ft -- keep in mind some had 1 to 5 outboards on them as well was 39,696 ---- up 4.8 %
I/O and inboard fiberglass 14 ft - 40 ft - all Bowriders and deck boats 9,708 ---- down 4.2 %
I/O and inboard fiberglass 31 ft - 40 ft - all Cruisers 1,115 ------ up 4.1 %
I/O and inboard fiberglass 41 ft - 65 ft - all Yachts 729 ---- up 4.4 %
I/O and inboard fiberglass custom Yachts 66 ft and above ----- 101 ------ down 12.9 %
inboard and V drive all ski and wakeboard boats mainly 20 ft thru 26 ft - 7,405 ------ up 12.0 %
ALL below added into NEW boat sales listed as follows
PWC --- 51, 746 ---- up 6 %
0 - 15 ft Aluminum all general rec 12,600 ---- down 1.2 %
Jet boats ---- 4,056 --- up 6.3 %
Sailboats ----- 1,893 ----- up 2.2 %
electric boats ---- 159 ---- down 16.3 %
House boats ---- 34 ------ up 3 %
This makes the totals so far --- 212,945 ---- new boats sold as of end of Sept 2016.
