lets see any one of those guys dock a 38 foot offshore boat with a thirty thousand dollar paint job into a slip with a ten knot cross wind and a boat with a fifty thousand dollar paint job on either side (or both)

Spent a lot of time at Oregon Inlet in The Outerbanks back in my parasail days.
Many of the big Sportfishing charter boats were single engine that ran out of Pirates Cove.
Most of the boats you had to back down with a fair amount of commitment, I think it became a contest to see how hot you could back down into the slip.
Wasn't there to witness it but one of the days this was going on one of the boats had the transmission cable part ways while running hard astern.
Dock rash to say the least, being the marina laughing stock was far worse.
