Default 525 cam installation

Upgrading a 500efi with a cam.from a 525 efi.
Can anyone tell me if it should be installed straight up, or advanced, and.if.advanced how much?
And if it should be but was installed.straight up what effect it.could.cause?

I think I read that the timing is advanced 7 degrees base but haven't been able to find anything on if the cam needs to be degreed

the cam should be [degreed]it has advance ground in and i would install it straight up.
