Guy's, I'm sorry, maybe I should have expanded my question. Motor mount nuts are tight as I had to realign the motor when I had the drive off to address a bent shift shaft issue.
My main reason for asking was if my new solid exhaust tailpipe (no rubber hose connectors) need a larger transom hole due to motor movement (if any). As you've stated, the mounts are solid so I should be good to go with my existing 4 1/4" ID transom hole for my centered 4" OD pipes. Pipes are not attached to the transom via a welded on flange, I went with a 1/4" thk. rubber/silicone transom flange gasket with a 3 7/8 ID to fit tightly over the 4" OD pipe providing support, flexibility and a water tight seal. I believe this style seal is called a "Beauty Ring Seal".
Thank you again,
Gary
