We would like to invite all of you to join us this June 8th-10th as we gather in Jacksonville for another River Rally and Fun Run.

The DoubleTree Hotel Riverfront has been kind enough to give us a group rate on Rooms of All Types and donate a portion of each room-night to Camp Amigo !! Please ONLY book through our link or the phone number and mention the Jax River Rally as your group. We have a good block but it will expire on May 19th. If we run short on rooms before that date they will add to our block.

MetroPark Marina will be open to our boats for the weekend. This is the same spot that we have used in the past and it has floating docks and a good location. We will make some docks PRIORITY if you would like to donate to the Camp Amigo fund. This is not mandatory and there will be plenty of space for everyone.

THURSDAY NIGHT--we will have an meet and greet at the HOOTERS at Jacksonvile Landing. The water taxi can take you directly from the hotel or it's a short walk over the bridge.

FRIDAY DAY -- We will have the usual BoaterSkipDay raftup party with free BBQ while it lasts. This will be the same spot we go to every year and links or directions will be posted.

FRIDAY NIGHT-- TBA--We will have a place to meet for some food and cocktails and then maybe go to a local bar for those that want a later evening.

SATURDAY-- We will run to Crystal Cove Resort in Palatka. They have new docks and fuel systems so we will have a great venue. They will offer a Buffet lunch with a wide variety of items and have a great pool and pavillion area setup for us as a group. 93 OCTANE will be available.

SATURDAY NIGHT-- We will again go to River City Brewery for a nice dinner. If we can get enough people we can reserve the whole 2nd floor for our group.

Please remember this is a gathering and fun run. Nothing is formal and no one needs to sign up.

HOWEVER, we will still be trying to raise money for Camp Amigo as the weekend always has in the past. We gave them a little last year but it would be great to give them a BUNCH more this year.

I've talked with a nice policeman on three different runs while on a certain bridge there...

You have definitely taken some of the most memorable shots from that event and that town. Please feel free to share more so people might understand my passion for the event and the charity it supports.

We'd love to attend this run if I can shove around some scheudling stuff. But I'm afraid I might win the slowest boat there award and we might get to Crystal Cove as everyone is leaving :-p

We see and have boats of every type and speed. Last year we went almost 80 miles each way and the best thing I saw was two guys in a 22' Classic Donzi make the whole run on one tank of fuel. Meanwhile I ran out and floated for a bit. LOL
