My wife is a teacher and has the last week of March off. Just bought a 33 Active Thunder and want to try it out. We live in Southern Wisconsin and want to go somewhere close with good water, and warmer. Any suggestions welcomed that are power boat friendly with no noise restrictions. We have been to the Ozarks for years, but are worried it is to cool.
Lakes considering:
Kentucky Lake
Lake Cumberland
Lake Lanier
Austin Tx. Kinda far
Lake Conroe. Kinda far
Lake Texoma. Far
Any help would be great.

We have a house on Lake Delavan. We know the boats a little large for this lake but like to go to other lakes. Our last boat was a 2005 Baja 30 Outlaw with 496Hos. We were looking at Cigs and Donzi 38s but this one
Fit our needs. With good cockpit and cabin space. My wife's family and mine have been on this lake for 40 plus years.

I would think Lake Cumberland. I went down there years ago to pick up a boat. Not to far and is a pretty drive once you get into Kentucky. Last week in march is high 67-70 with the exception of a day or so. That would be my choice anyway. Congrats on the AT. Always wanted one of those.

We lost all ice on Pewaukee lake but it started to form again..... From the recent weather outlook we should be good. Heck, I saw a center console out there two weeks ago....
Jeff,
Sounds like a big boat for your lake but still doable. That seams to be a good size to tow... You should have many spots to hit this summer. I imagine you have the chain, Lake Michigan, Milwaukee, and Winnebago on the list...

Restaurants and bars at LOTO are just starting to open back up for the season.
People have been boating down there the last few weeks.
this time of year, it might be 80* or it might be 45* though depending on the weather pattern.
