What is the replacement part#, mine are suppose to be real low hours but I found one that I can push the plunger down pretty easy, Ive not run the valves on these yet, just thinking of replacing them

Merc part # is: 849947T01

Best bet is to get them from Eddie Young (Young Performance). I just bought three sets from him.

I was lead to believe that Morel is no longer making the taller dog bone style lifter. Can anyone confirm?

See discontinued BBC lifters;

Yes, that is my understanding as well. I also know that Johnson Lifters (not to be confused with HyLift Johnson) has discontinued their dog bone lifter (#2110) as well. The stock Merc lifter is a GM high performance lifter; this is what I got from Eddie. Hylift Johnson's dog bone lifter is A-2279 but I would steer clear of those. I just replaced 24 of them after four collapsed.
