K planes on a 288 cable Length

K planes on a 288 cable Length
Does anybody know the cable length on a port side or left side K plane I had the casing around the cable break and I'm worried that it will leak water. The cable still works it's just a rubber casing that the grommet compresses on his broken so the raw steel cable is showing or does it not need to be replaced
