Default 30' spectre - Front seats too low?

I have a 2006 30' spectre with the small windscreen. I find the front seats to be too low to see out the boat. I am 5'10" so I would say I'm average height, but I have to sit on two throwable cushions while driving. Has anyone else had this same problem? If so I wondering if anyone knows a good type of bracket to mount under the seats to raise them up.

I ended up raising my seat 3" so I could see over the windscreen. I kept the passenger seat the same height so my wife could not see over the dash and tell me to slow down, lol

Did you have to make brackets to raise your seat or were you able to buy something that worked well?

I was thinking more along the lines of an ejection seat for my wife.

I bought rubber tile(24"X24" I think) and cut it to match the bottom of the seat and then covered it with the same carpet I have on the floor. Stacked it between the floor and the seat to raise it up to the height I needed. Wanted something that would not rot and I don't have fiberglass experience to build a taller base. It actually looks OK for cheap easy way to do this.

I believe Jay use to use some shims. I owned a 2005 30 with the windshield and I think I adjusted my seat as well.

I have booster cushions that go in the seats. I'm a little taller but it definitely helps me.

Why not just have the seat bottoms redone with thicker foam?

I found some garlick mounts that will add 2" in height and also allow the seat to slide fore and aft. I haven't installed them yet.
